Course Content

The course consists of training which covers the following areas. Each area encompasses different subjects within:

Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
Understanding assessment in education and training

Through interactive training sessions students will learn how to design lesson plans, prepare and deliver engaging training sessions, assess learners and present a micro teach training session.

With our vast knowledge and experience of teaching and assessing this qualification we are able to deliver the programme according to the needs of your organisation and will endeavour where possible to offer a bespoke element to our delivery.

Who is the qualification for?

This award has been designed for individuals who would like to work or currently work for Independent Training Providers, Community/Further Education, Private/Public Freelance Trainers and those who are required to train others within their job role. Or you may simply be looking for a career change. There are no prior qualifications required to complete the course, but you will need to be able to compete the workbook electronically. Use of a computer will be necessary to type up the workbook. .

How quickly can I complete this award?

The sooner the learner completes the assessments the sooner we can send off for your certificate. Our quickest learner to date completed within 4 weeks of the course. We have direct claim status from the awarding body which enables us to request your certificate from the awarding body as soon as you complete your workbook, rather than wait for a lengthy checking process.
